Drawings, Paintings and Lithographs

Still-life objects in the context of imaginary spaces represent the current focus of my work. My visual interests span a variety of traditions and contemporary trends, and I draw specific objects in an effort to compliment both historic precedent and current practice. Placing these drawings in invented environments presents a challenge that, when resolved, hopefully results in compositions that contain poetic relationships and allow for multiple interpretations. In this way I attempt to expand the tradition of the still-life.
