About my Photography Some photographers take pictures. I like to think that I make photographs. I chase magical light at ridiculous hours of the day and night--hoping to capture that elusive moment of oneness between man and nature. While I can't share the exact ratio of how often this moment actually occurs, I can tell you without reservation that it does occur. I hope my photographs are a further testament to the fact that these moments are more prevalent than we all could imagine. Having been heavily influenced by Western greats like Ansel Adams, Tim Fitzharris, Galen Rowell and David Muench, my imagery hinges upon three integral concepts: light, composition and striking subject matter. As a photographer, I endeavor to transfer the viewer to a different place. Paradise? Perhaps.
